TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESCRIPTION
General Teaching Description:
For every course, there are either 3 to 4 teenage instructors or 1 adult instructor along with 1 to 2 teenage teaching assistants. The group of teenage instructors follow a teaching cycle where each instructor teachers 2 to 3 times within an 8 week course. A curriculum for all courses has been established, so materials for most classes are already prepared and do not need to be created. Zoom is used for class meetings as well as demo lesson meetings. Instructors also attend demo lessons meetings were their mock-present their lesson to other instructors. We use Google Classroom to post class recordings, presentations, and homework. Instructors are paid $80 for being a teaching instructor in a course.
